This consists of five written examinations:-

Driving Theory, Skills and Procedures
Teaching Practices and Procedures
Passed the Cardington Special Driving Test at Grade A
The Diploma in Driving Instruction combined with the Cardington Special Driving Test entitles the use of the title ‘Diamond Advanced Instructor’
(This is a qualification held by only about 3% of Driving Instructors)
Qualified as an Examiner for the Diamond Advanced Motorists Test
(There are only about 100 people in the whole country qualified to conduct this test, which is very similar to the ADI Part 2 Driving Test)
Qualified as an ADI Federation Course Tutor for Continuous Professional Development Courses
Qualified as an ADI Federation Course Tutor for DSA Fleet Register Courses
Qualified as a Driving Standards Agency Subject Matter Expert

Coach Assessor, and Chief Trainer for the Driver Education Research Foundation / Lac Consilium Ltd Certificate in Professional Competence (CPC) for Vocational Drivers of Cars and Light Vans
