ADINJC Standards Check Workshops

 

ADINJC (Approved Driving Instructors National Joint Council) are running a series of ‘classroom’ based Standards Check Workshops at various locations around the country.

 

When you attend some courses, the idea is that you sit and listen to an expert.

This course is different, it is run by very experienced ‘experts’ and you will be able to learn from their knowledge and experience, but the workshop is run with more of a ‘coaching’ style where possible, so we will be asking you to think about your own knowledge and experience, and pool it with that of your fellow delegates.

This workshop is not only ‘sit and listen’ it is also ‘think’ and ‘do’.

 

It is run by four very experienced and well qualified driver and instructor trainers, who, when practical use a ‘coaching’ approach to helping people to learn.

 

The trainers / presenters are:

 

Lynne Barrie

Lynne, amongst other qualifications, holds a Master’s Degree in Driver Training, she is the author of the books:

Lynne is a very experienced trainer and re-trainer of ADIs, and is also one of the industry’s leading experts on coaching.

Lynne also teaches learner drivers, so she is still in touch with the regular day to day work that most ADIs do.

 

Stuart Walker

Stuart is the Head of Training at ADINJC

Stuart is a very experienced trainer and re-trainer of ADIs, and was previously Head of Training for a national ADI training company.

Stuart is also a Fleet Registered Instructor.

Stuart also teaches learner drivers, so is still in touch with the regular day to day work that most ADIs do.

 

Nick Ibbott

Nick is the former Head of Training at ADINJC

Nick is a very experienced trainer and re-trainer of ADIs, and also has a lot of experience of Fleet Driver Training.

Nick also teaches learner drivers, so is still in touch with the regular day to day work that most ADIs do.

 

James Quinn

James is a DSA Registered Fleet Driver Trainer, and an examiner for the Diamond Advanced & Special Driving Tests.

James is a very experienced trainer and re-trainer of ADIs.

James also teaches learner drivers, so is still in touch with the regular day to day work that most ADIs do.
